Summer Pop-Ups

Some of these coloured dyed pop-ups will be featured within the touring exhibition, Bound, as part of the Artist Book Collective Archive based in Leeds, UK. First port of call is Leeds City Library from 14th-24th August 2012, in conjunction with the Divided We Fall Festival. For more details please see Bound blog.

Leeds 15th International Artists' Book Fair

On the 9th and 10th March I participated within the 15th International Artists' Book Fair at the University of Leeds. My work was presented alongside Andy Singleton's paper cut works, and Richard Sweeney's pop-up cards.

These recently made pop-up books explore the spiral form, and its journey from one end of the book to the other.

Spiral pop-up eggs

The egg-like objects below take on the book form in a more sculptural manner. The process of repetitiously wrapping the exterior of each work is mirrored in the spiral pop-up which is contained within.
